The Falls City Hi-Bru bowling team triumphed at the 1936 ABC Tournament, held in their hometown of Indianapolis, earning the prestigious five-man team championship and a $1,000 cash prize. Representing Falls City Brewing Company, known for its Hi-Bru beer, the team of Fred Mounts, Clarence Mack, Chris Cray, Ray Roberson, Carl Hardin and Joz Fulton delivered an outstanding performance on the national stage. Winning in Indianapolis, a city deeply rooted in bowling tradition, added even greater significance to their victory, cementing their legacy as champions in one of the sport’s biggest events.
