Bowling fans used pins for all sorts of creative projects, including for dolls, complete with clothing, hair and arms. Though the precise history of these pins is unknown, it is possible they are affiliated with the Hiney Winey League. Pin dolls served as decorative works at banquets and tournaments and were also crafted to represent individual state groups and leagues. These dolls, from a 1986 tournament, came ready to bowl with coordinating outfits!
