SUDA IN THE STATES
Date: 1970
Dorothy Fothergill (center) and Kayoko Suda (left), who finished first and second respectively in the Women’s Division at the 1969 BPAA All-Star Tournament, talked during the 1970 event. Following the 1970 tournament, Suda played a pivotal role in elevating bowling’s popularity in Japan, competing in televised tournaments in the 1970s organized by the Japan Professional Bowling Association. She is widely considered one of best Japanese bowlers in history.
