Paeng Nepomuceno is not only one of the greatest Filipino athletes of all time, he is also one of the greatest bowlers of all time. He began bowling as a child and quickly became a phenom, winning the AMF Bowling World Cup before age 20 in 1976. (He would go on to win the tournament another three times.) When he was inducted into the International Bowling Hall of Fame in 1993, he became the first male from outside the U.S. to receive the honor. He was named “Athlete of the Millennium” by the FIQ in 1999. Nepomuceno wore his Filipino heritage proudly in this bowling shirt, which pays homage to the Filipino flag.
