THE SIGN OF THE TIMES
Date: 1970
In preparation for the 1970 BPAA All-Star Tournament, held at the Strike ‘n’ Spare Lanes in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook, Illinois, the venue underwent several upgrades and changes. Here, two individuals installed the BPAA All-Star Tournament sign on the front facade of the building. Throughout the event, which spanned over a week, 320 men and women bowlers converged at this location, culminating in Bobby Cooper securing the men’s title and Mary Baker clinching the women’s crown.
