Kay DeBonis (center) of the Pabst Blue Ribbon women’s bowling team took time from her bowling to fraternize with media stars Brenda and Cobina, who were famous for their appearances on comedian Bob Hope’s radio program. The photo was featured in the May-June 1940 issue of Woman Bowler, celebrating DeBonis’s role as an instructor at the new Chicago Arena, where she helped inspire the next generation of women bowlers.
