Even after achieving Hollywood fame, Andy Varipapa continued to play in exhibition games and professional meets around the country. He faced off against James “Junie” McMahon in Paramus, New Jersey, on February 16, 1958. As both were already members of the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame, the event was no doubt an electrifying match-up between two all-time greats.
