ROLL-OFF IN CINCINNATI

Bowlers competed for $17,000 in prize money at the Women’s International Bowling Congress tournament in Cincinnati in 1938. In a dramatic conclusion, Nell Webster of Elgin, Illinois, and Rose Werner, of Waukegan, Illinois, were tied in the single standings and had to return for a roll-off.
