In 1959, the American Bowling Congress (ABC) chose St. Louis, Missouri, to host a massive ABC tournament. The tournament ran for over two months. Nearly 5,500 bowling teams competed, comprised of the ABC’s best bowlers. After toppling many thousands of pins, top bowlers signed one. The pin was a fitting tribute to the herculean efforts of both the organizers and the athletes who made the event a success. Watch a video.
