The Chicago Monarch Beer men’s bowling team proudly represented the Chicago Classic League with bottles of Monarch Encore beer in hand. From left to right are Dick Winsberg, Johnny Small (co-holder of the National Doubles Title), Wally Freitag, Junie McMahon, Adam Plunge and Joe Wilman, the team captain and reigning Individual Match Game Champion of the World, as well as co-holder of the National Doubles Title. McMahon and Wilman, both honored members of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Hall of Fame, embodied the brilliance that defined this team.
